B.J. joined the Foundation staff in 2002. He retired from a major South Carolina utility after more than 21 years in the accounting department. He is a native of Kentucky and a graduate of Murray State University. In addition to serving as the Chief Financial Officer of the Foundation, B.J. is an avid golfer, who volunteers to direct the annual Rice Home Golf Tournament. B.J. and his wife, Mara, live in Irmo and have two sons. B.J. also has two adult sons and one grandson.
