Ernest has served the Foundation as Director of Planned Giving since 2001. He is a graduate of Clemson University, Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary and the National Planned Giving Institute and an active member of the Association of Lutheran Development Executives and the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning. His wife, Laura is an educator and church choral director in Dorchester County. They have two children, Caroline and Jantzen.
