While many parents and grandparents worry about children who are away, scammers will use this time as an opportunity to take your money. After receiving calls from local consumers BBB Serving Northeast Florida & The Southeast Atlantic is warning grandparents and family members about “emergency” scams designed to fool them into thinking that their grandchild is hurt, arrested or stranded, and in need of money.
